Job Description:

• Shadowing the lead and Manager of the Accounting department as they perform their duties.
• Assisting with research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
• Preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, invoices, and other documents.

• Assist in the preparation of documents and schedules for internal and external audits.
• Process invoices, Monitor account payables and ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding invoices, and ensure timely collections.

• Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
• Learning how to work as part of the Accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company or clients.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
• Monitor cash flow and report any issues to the finance team.
• Taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office operations.

Skills Required:

• Sound MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word) required
• Good Accounting knowledge (Tally Required)
• Satisfactory completion of introductory accounting courses and a basic understanding of accounting and financial principles.
• Aptitude for math, proficiency with computers.
• Good to have knowledge about GST & TDS reconciliation and Compliance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
• Motivation and a strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible.
• Strong customer service orientation
• Structured approach to problem solving and issue resolution
• Ability to apply accounting system expertise to troubleshoot financial system problems, resolve customer issues and implement new solutions.

Qualifications:

• MBA, M. Com, B.com or equivalent Graduates and Post Graduates preferred .
